Our camp will once again be held at Camp Hy-Lake. The setting is breath-taking and peaceful. The facilities include rustic cabins, bath houses, recreation fields, a covered-gym/barn, a mess hall, as well as a dock on the a beautiful river.
A well trained, enthusiastic staff is the key to a postive camping experience. Otter Creek Christian Camp counselors are chosen for their maturity, skills, patience, enthusiasm and desire to be good role models for your children. In addition to our counselors, we have an incredible group of cooks, teachers, craft and game staff eagerly anticipating the arrival of your child at camp. A medical doctor will be on staff the entire week of camp. Please note on your child's application all allergies and any medications presently being taken, even if the camper is taking them on their own. Also note that NO CAMPER will be allowed to attend camp WITHOUT THE MEDICAL INSURANCE PORTION OF THE APPLICATION COMPLETELY FILLED OUT. At Otter Creek Christian Camp we make the spiritual and physical health and safety of each camper a prime concern.
The fee for camp this year is $150 per camper and all campers must have completed the 3rd grade to register for camp. This fee includes all food and lodging, a camp T-shirt, daily snacks at our canteen, and crafts. Because of the camp facility we have to limit the number of campers serve. Thus, we are opening camp registration to Otter Creek members starting Feb. 10, 2008. Registration for all Friends of Otter Creek will open April 1, 2008, with registration for everyone closing June 7, 2008 or when all spaces are filled. While registering on-line gives us your information, no one's application will be processed without receipt of a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $50, a copy of the camper's insurance card and a signed release waiver. Once the above has been recieved you will be registered for camp. Your balance is due June 1st. Any payment recieved after the 1st is subject to a late fee of $35. Following the close of registration and receipt of your full payment you will receive a letter pertaining to the details of final registration, directions, what to bring and the Check-in time at Camp Hy-Lake.
